My career experience from 1995-2020 focused on broadcast commercial production for regional and national level clients. 

 

Producing commercial projects at this level involves much planning, organizing and managing from conception to completion, leading cross-functional departments to perform in adherence to timelines, budgets and regulations, and maintaining communication and collaboration between all stakeholders. 

 

Boulevard Films plucked me from the freelance ranks in 1995, hiring me full time to produce commercials for Belk department stores.  At that time, all national and regional commercials were shot on film.  Like the credits you'll see roll at the end of a movie, the commercial projects I manage require numerous specialized crew positions, locations and talent.  I worked with advertising agency creatives and also directly with clients. I functioned as the diplomat, problem solver, motivational speaker, bean counter, foreman, quality control manager and heavy.
