Under my leadership and project management with the Main Street Design Committee for the City of Belmont, we created and installed two information kiosks in downtown with a custom caboose design enclosure.  The kiosks are digital which enables every business and organization in the downtown districts to be included, and allows content alterations with minimal to no cost as businesses change. The features the digital kiosks offer can also evolve with the growing City’s needs.

 

Highly supportive to the downtown business hub's economic vitality, all district entities, who wished to be, are represented in the kiosks, giving a presence and exposure that is not found though any other single means. Additionally, this project has been a great tool for business recruitment.  It supports business retention and provides further opportunities to attract sponsorship through the kiosk attract loop feature.  

 

The final design implementation of the To Do, See & Stay button has provided the most benefit to residents, as it functions as an aggregate of Belmont-centric event information for this very active community.
